Flights from North America typically depart the evening of Friday, March 18th and land in Nairobi the evening of Saturday, March 19th given the time-zone shift

Departure

Depart Saturday, March 26th or Sunday, March 27th from Nairobi—Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)

Flights from Nairobi to North America typically depart late in the evening and arrive late morning / early afternoon the following day.

Guests can choose to arrive Saturday, March 19th or arrive a day earlier, Friday, March 18th to acclimate and explore Nairobi. Guests can choose to stay until Saturday, March 26th or Sunday, March 27th

Flights leaving on Sunday the 27th will arrive late morning / early afternoon on Monday in North America, so guests who need to be back for work on Monday should depart Saturday evening (we expect most guests will leave on Saturday)

Generally, direct connections between the wedding destinations are not available via scheduled service, so our group will travel on a set of chartered planes that Air Kenya is providing at a 30% discount to rack rate:

• Sunday, March 20th—1 hour flight from Nairobi to Lamu

• Wednesday, March 23rd—1 hour flight from Lamu to the Masai Mara

• Friday, March 25th—45min flight from the Masai Mara to Mount Kenya

• Saturday, March 26th or Sunday, March 27th (depending on day you choose to depart)—30min flight from Mount Kenya to Nairobi

Emara ole sereni

The Emara Ole Sereni is a 5-star hotel, which overlooks the spectacular Nairobi National Park and is in close proximity to the international airport.

The hotel is ~20mins away from the international airport, where guests will arrive and ~10 minutes from the domestic airport (Wilson Airport), where we will depart for Lamu on Sunday, March 20th.

Cost: $180 - $300 / room / night (15% discount to rack rate)

The Majlis

The Majlis hotel is a privately owned luxury beach hotel. The hotel has a superb beachfront location and breathtaking views over the bay.

Cost: $150 - $1,000 / room / night (20-40% discount to rack rate)

Peponi Hotel

Peponi is a small, boutique hotel run by the Korschen family since 1967. The hotel is beachfront and a close walking distance to Shella town.

We have reserved a variety of private houses for our party, located in close proximity to the beach and the other hotels
